Winter Horticulture Series – Container Gardens – Flowers, Herbs and Vegetables

Speaker: Liz Stanley coordinates home & school gardening programs for UMaine Extension where her motto is “no gardening question is too weird.”

Topic: “Container Gardens – Flowers, Herbs and Vegetables”

Learn about growing in containers and raised beds for beauty, convenience, and accessibility. We’ll cover design, plants, growing mediums, and fertility. She also works one day a week for Lee Schneller Fine Gardens, and is fortunate to have been on three crew trips to Japan. She lives with her husband in Warren, where they grow trees, flowers & vegetables on the shores of Crawford Pond.
