Is there a Cloud Library app for Mac/PC?
No. There is no longer a dedicated application for Mac/PC. You will need to download Adobe Digital Editions in order to read your eBooks offline. For the most up-to-date instructions, please refer to the official tutorial for downloading eBooks to Mac/PC for offline reading, found here.
Where can I download Adobe Digital Editions?
You can download it here. Download the linked file for either Macintosh or Windows and follow instructions. You can also download it by going to the cloudLibrary e-reader tutorial and clicking the red “Get Adobe Digital Editions” button.
NOTE: You must be logged into your computer as an administrator to install the software or know your administrator password.
How do I log in to Adobe Digital Editions?
Once you have installed Adobe Digital Editions, you will need to present an Adobe ID. If you do not already have an Adobe ID, you can create one with Adobe here. Log in using your Adobe ID username and password.
How do I transfer books to Adobe Digital Editions?
I cannot log in to my cloudLibrary account on the website. What’s wrong?
First, make sure you have an internet connection. Second, make sure you have selected the correct library. Third, make sure you have entered your library card number correctly, no spaces. If you have outstanding fines or fees on your account, you will not be able to log in. If your library card has expired, you will not be able to log in. If you are still having problems, give us a call or send an email to info@librarycamden.org
Can I transfer books I’ve checked out on the Mac/PC to my personal device?
Yes, you can! Once you have checked out a book to your Mac/PC, you can transfer a copy to your eReader. To do this, connect your eReader to your Mac/PC using a USB cable. Adobe Digital Editions will automatically detect the connected device and you can transfer between devices. Supported eReaders: Nook (original), Nook Touch, Nook Color (must have Nook version 1.41), older Sony, and Kobo.
