A poem is a word-event going in many directions at once. Sometimes the “you” of a poem is a specific person; other times it’s the poet or a general audience. At times there’s no you at all, so the poem addresses itself to the world.
Join celebrated poet, theologian, mediator, and author Pádraig Ó Tuama for this special craft talk to kick off the 2024 Camden Festival of Poetry. Read more about Pádraig here.
Please note: This event is NOT the main event of the festival. The main event will take place on Saturday, May 18 at the First Congregational Church at 55 Elm Street, and is free and open the public. The Camden Festival of Poetry is not a library event. For more information, visit www.thepoetscorner.org/festival
