Join us for a one-hour program designed to introduce participants to the transformative practice of mindfulness meditation on Thursday, June 6, at 6:30 PM in the Picker Room. This program is in-person only.
In a world of constant change, upheaval, and non-stop connectivity, anxiety is on the rise. Through the practice of mindfulness, we can learn to take the wind out of the sails of anxiety and other disturbing emotions and cultivate some peace of mind. This session will offer a blend of theoretical understanding and practical exercises, guided by an experienced instructor. Participants will explore the origins of mindfulness, understand its role in managing anxiety, and practice techniques to foster present moment awareness. The session concludes with a Q&A, providing an opportunity to discuss experiences and clarify doubts. Whether you’re new to mindfulness or looking to deepen your practice, this program will offer valuable insights into cultivating a more peaceful and mindful approach to life. No prior experience is necessary; all are welcome to discover the benefits of mindfulness meditation.
