Camden Climate Conversations

Recurring Event see all

Thursday, February 15 @ 1:00 pm 2:30 pm

Join others concerned about our climate future in small, facilitated conversation circles.

New schedule! These conversation circles take place on first and third Thursdays from 1:00 – 2:00 PM and on first and third Wednesdays from 5:00 – 5:45 PM in the Picker Room.

These will be informal, designed to help us get to know one another and find ways to talk about the climate crisis. There will be resources for guided discussion, including podcasts, articles, and books, as decided by each group. The goal is to help one another explore living in this remarkable period. Making connections about climate is a powerful way to build resilience. Free and open to all!

Formed in the spring of 2023, CamdenCAN is a citizen-led organization committed to reducing Camden’s climate change through local action, education, advocacy, and resources. We help our community take advantage of climate solutions with actionable steps. Together we CAN make a difference. At the September talk, there will be sign up sheets for committees and events sponsored by this group, as well as information on state-wide initiatives for climate action.
