The Union of Maine Visual Artists Midcoast Chapter and the Camden Public Library present “Explosion Book Seminar,” a workshop for artists and the community led by UMVA member Linda Leach on Saturday, November 18, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Picker Room at the Camden Public Library. The fee for this seminar is $10, which covers the cost of materials and a small donation to the Camden Public Library.
Come together for a fun day of connecting and creating! Invite a friend or family member! Bring a brown bag lunch, bring a potluck offering for the snack table (optional). Materials supplied by the instructor.
An “explosion book” is a handmade small square book, which “explodes” into a series of square and triangular pages when you open it up.
Linda Leach has been a teaching and exhibiting artist for over 26 years in the Midcoast area.
